Due to the demand for enterprise space, BACD purchased the old Bank Chambers building on Society Street in Ballinasloe Town in 2021 to transform it into a state-of-the-art town centre enterprise hub.  This was financed with funding from the Just Transition Fund, Town and Village Renewal Fund and a loan from the Ballinasloe Credit Union.  The building will be repurposed into a remote working digital hub called The Ballinasloe Enterprise Hub, which like the Ballinasloe Enterprise Centre, will offer enterprise space to new and existing start-ups, remote working service with flexible workspaces, hot desks, and meeting rooms for 40+ people. By providing this facility in the town centre, we will breathe new life into our town and promote the sustainable economic and financial well-being of the community.
